Do Obama Voters Support Amnesty?

Posted by thebaldchick in Illegal Immigration |

Evidently not.

A nationwide survey of actual voters reveals that Americans strongly support immigration enforcement, and that less than one-third of Obama voters favor granting amnesty to illegal aliens. The poll conducted by Zogby International on behalf of the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) on November 5 and 6 also found that a decisive majority of voters believe that an illegal alien amnesty would “further harm the interests of struggling American workers.”

Read ‘em and weep, open borders shills. Your bold sweeping statements may sound good to those who walk in lockstep with you on immigration, but I’ll base my statements on fact, thank you very much.

Among the key findings of the poll are:

— Only 32% of Obama voters considered his support for amnesty as a factor
in their decisions to vote for him. 67% said it was either not a factor
at all, or they voted for Obama in spite of his stance on amnesty.
— 60% of voters said reducing illegal immigration and cracking down on
employers who hire them is important to them, while only 21% supported
“legalizing or creating a pathway to citizenship” for illegal
aliens.
— 57% of voters stated that amnesty would harm American workers and
further strain public resources, while only 26% believe amnesty would
aid economic recovery and ease public burdens.

Of course, Obama will continue to push for amnesty, just as McCain would have had he been elected. It’s what they want. It’s what they do.

As yet another poll shows, it’s STILL against the will of the American people. But did anyone really think that’s what they were interested in anyway?

Very few of us support Amnesty. We have been telling you this for years. We just aren’t assholes about it like some of the others who are ruthless about this situation.

Neither Obama or McCain were for amnesty. You haven’t been listening.

You live in your own world girlie, and you aren’t too interested in hearing the facts before you leap to your conclusions about your political foes.

People who are dumb enough to believe open lies and political rhetoric should probably not be allowed to vote. :)

OH, H? What happened to The Ones Amnesty policy on his “change” page? Gosh, it just disappeared, what could explain this amazing fact?
