According to TSO who was at the “Salute to Heroes Inaugural Ball”, this newly sworn-in President for the first time in 56 years blew off the ball (that’s 14 Inaugurations).
Some background on the ball;
The American Legion sponsors the ball, which recognizes recipients of Medal of Honor, the nation’s highest military award. It started in 1953 for President Dwight D. Eisenhower’s first inauguration.
Event co-sponsors include 13 other veterans service organizations, among them the Military Order of the Purple Heart and the Paralyzed Veterans of America.
No matter how much he pretends to be ‘centrist’ and hopeychangey let’s not forget this cat learned politics in Chicago through such lovely communist front groups as ACORN. Its going to be a long bumpy four years folks, a looooonnnnnng four years!

Speaking of absolutely NOT creepy and a little frightening…
As I often do in weighty moments, I prayed to God — but I kept seeing an image of Barack Obama. I kept saying to myself, “No, God, not Obama,” and I concentrated on images of Christ on the cross. But I kept seeing Obama smiling, until I finally decided that I would just give up and pray to Obama.
Well, what could possibly go wrong with that? Funny observation here, folks tend to of course project their own silliness on others, so why does it not surprise me in any way that the left is prepared to literally worship Obama after spending eight years insisting that the conservative movement, which fought Bush tooth and nail over just about every issue, were doing the same thing.
