Welcome to Amexico!

If your old enough you might recall a spirited debate held on the topic of whether or not allowing millions of unassimilated Latinos into this country was a super great idea. On the open borders post American side of things groups like La Raza, The Chamber Of Commerce and the Wall Street Journal all said ’si!’

While sane folks like us, Tom Tancredo and the good folks at Vdare weren’t quite so sanguine.

A side codicil of the debate was how much we would be improved as a nation by allowing in millions of liberation theology Marxists, not if, but simply how much. Well, feast your eyes on the first of the cultural improvements headed our way in OUR GLORIOUS MULTI-CULTURAL FUTURE!

First up, NBC brings Columbian Telenova to America, its name? “Without tits, no heaven.” I crap you negative, can you just smell the cultural improvements already Shadow Man psp

Silverman brings telenovela to network

Peacock has bought the rights to the muy successful Colombian telenovela “Sin tetas no hay paraiso” (”Without Breasts There is No Paradise”) and is developing it as a likely primetime project. Simulatenously, NBC sister net Telemundo will produce a Spanish-language version of the format with a different cast and script.

“Sin tetas,” from Colombia’s Canal Caracol, focused on a young woman determined to get bigger breasts in order to escape poverty. She ends up working as a prostitute, getting involved with drug dealer in the process. Sudser is based on the novel of the same name by Gustavo Bolivar.

You may be wondering — why is NBC doing this? Ahem, this might just provide a clue

NBC’s weekly primetime average viewership fell below 6 million average viewers for the week, a dramatically low number approaching the level of Spanish language Univision in every demo category. Except in the adults 18-34 demo, where NBC finished behind Univision. Let the Ben Silverman pink slip watch continue!

Do you feel improved?

There was sort of a “cath-up” special for “Grey’s Anatomy” a few weeks ago. The program summarized the show thereby permitting people who had never watched it to be caught up on the gist of the show. I was curious about what the big fuss was about the show so I watched it. Everybody was jumping in to bed with everybody else. A doctor and nurse make eye contact… the next thing you know they’re doing “it” in a broom closet. The only non-sleazy character seemed to be Dr. McDreamy himself.

Shows like this, Desperate Housewives, the Southern California porn industry exist not because Americans are bad but only from Mexican influence (which comes in the form of a Colombian show???). Oh those sleazy Mexicansd!!!

I think your missing my point here, if you think I’m suggesting that American soap operas are pure as the driven snow, nope, that’s not it at all, my point is simply that one of the selling points of open borders/massive out of control legal and illegal immigration is that we’re importing mass numbers of cultural conservatives who are going to save this country.

Well, pardon me for scoffing but…(scoff!)

Oh, and when did I say anything about Mexicans? Sleazy or otherwise? Get the potatoes out of your eyes!

I stand corrected. I guess one show from one country is sufficient to draw a conclusion about the Southern half of the Western Hemisphere.

And I guess the term “Amexico” was referring to Kampuchea, not Mexico. I’m 0 for 2 today.

Couldn’t have happened to a nicer network.

As for our culture here in America, I just can’t wait until the whole of the United States averages a drop out rate of 50%… that’s what I call an improvement and great family values.
